David Babler

Financial Advisor



David Babler grew up in the financial services business. Following in his father's footsteps, David took over his father's insurance agency in 1971. Since that date, he has taken his business to new heights and positioned himself among the leaders in the profession.

David has earned the advanced industry designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Accredited Estate Planner (AEP), and Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS). David is a life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, past president and current member of the Madison Estate Council and Madison Chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals, and past director and current member of the Madison Estate Planning Council, Council of Independent Managers, and National Association of Estate Planners.

Prior to taking over the business, David was a Peace Corp volunteer in Costa Rica, an assistant to the Dean of the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corp. Dave is a graduate of Ripon College, where he earned his BA, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned his MBA. He also has a Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College.

Dedicated to giving back to his community, David chairs fundraisers for the Monroe United Way, Monroe Art & Activities Center, Downtown Library Fund, the Turner Hall Preservation Fund, and the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for The Monroe Clinic, the YMCA Foundation, the Monroe Excellence in Education Foundation and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Monroe.

David and his wife reside in Monroe, Wisconsin, and have two adult children and two grandchildren. He has also skied in the Berkenbinder, carried the Olympic torch, climbed mountains in Peru as well as Mt. Kilimanjaro, and sailed open water.
