The Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification program is an advanced credential for wealth managers who work with high net worth individuals, focusing on life cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution. The program focused on behavioral finance, charitable and estate planning, planning for closely held business owners, planning for executives, portfolio management, retirement planning, risk management, and tax planning.
Many business owners find that their personal life and business life are practically inseparable. Nathan feels this demonstrates the importance for financial planning which takes into account the unique considerations and opportunities of owning and operating a business.
Having been in the financial services industry since 1995, Nathan has worked with numerous business owners and executive management to identify, anticipate and avoid the most common mistakes that plague businesses. This includes addressing the financial needs and products for every stage of a business life cycle while taking into account personal financial goals and dreams.
Nathan and his wife reside in Madison, Wisconsin, with their three children. In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family and traveling, and he has a passion for BBQ. Nathan has been selected as one of In Business Magazine's "40 Under 40" for 2010, is a member of the WTBA (Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association), and is a board member for the Madison Children's Museum.
